Since its establishment in 2017, Semight Instruments has remained focused on the independent research, development, and industrial application of high-end testing instruments and equipment. From a single office in the Suzhou High-Tech District to growing into one of the extremely rare domestic manufacturers capable of mass-producing and supplying core testing instruments for 1.6T high-speed optical modules—nine years of unwavering focus and accumulation have finally culminated in today's brilliance.

Semight Instruments' path of growth is one of steady climbing, deeply rooted in technological innovation. 

Since its inception, the company has adhered to independent R&D, gradually mastering critical cutting-edge technologies in the testing industry. This includes core chips with independent intellectual property rights, proprietary core algorithms, hardware boards, and ultra-precision motion systems. We have successfully formed a platform-level core technology system centered around high-speed signal processing, weak signal processing, and ultra-precision motion control. 

Relying on this powerful technological platform, Semight Instruments has achieved breakthroughs across multiple fields: 

In the optical communication sector: We are currently one of the few globally, and extremely few domestically, that mass-produces and supplies core testing instruments for 400G, 800G, and 1.6T high-speed optical modules. We have launched products that meet the industry's highest testing requirements for 1.6T optical modules, including the 65GHz sampling oscilloscope, 120GBaud clock recovery unit, and 1.6Tbps Bit Error Ratio Tester (BERT). This makes us the second manufacturer worldwide to launch a complete set of core testing instruments for 1.6T optical modules. 

In the power device sector: The company's Silicon Carbide (SiC) power device wafer-level burn-in systems and power chip KGD (Known Good Die) sorting and testing systems have achieved large-scale application, securing our market position in the first tier of domestic manufacturers. 

In the semiconductor integrated circuit sector: We are one of the very few domestic testing instrument manufacturers capable of providing a comprehensive product matrix, which includes PXIe plug-in Source Measure Units (SMUs), low leakage switch matrices, high-voltage SMUs, and pulse sources. The minimum current resolution of our core precision SMU products has broken through to 0.1fA, continuously narrowing the gap with advanced international levels.
